Our production team is made up of compassionate, creative individuals who are passionate about working with children and teens with disabilities. Ideal team members are:

committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and joyful rehearsal environment.
Experience working with children with disabilities is strongly preferred, along with a heart for celebrating every child’s potential.
Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This role supports communication, organization, and logistics for both the cast and production team.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and distribute participant and staff materials from The Penguin Project Foundation

Maintain rehearsal schedules, sign-in sheets, and contact lists
-
Coordinate communication between the director, staff, and families
-
Serve as the main contact for absences and rehearsal updates
-
Organize sales of cast T-shirts, tickets, photos, and DVDs (if applicable)
-
Collect bios and coordinate creation of the printed show program
Ideal Qualities:
Organized, friendly, flexible, and dependable—with strong communication skills and a passion for inclusive theatre.
Contract period: October 25 - March 26
Mentor Coordinator
The Mentor Coordinator ensures successful artist-mentor pairings and supports positive relationships throughout the program.
Key Responsibilities:

Pair artists with mentors and maintain partner lists

Ensure every artist has a mentor at each rehearsal

Monitor rehearsals and address concerns or conflicts
-
Serve as the main contact for parent and participant issues
-
Act as a liaison between families, mentors, and staff

Help plan and lead Mentor Boot Camp
Ideal Qualities:
Compassionate, organized, and approachable, with strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Production Assistant
Supports both the Production Coordinator and Mentor Coordinator to help rehearsals and communication run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with schedules, sign-in sheets, and materials

Help communicate with families and participants
-
Fill in for coordinators when needed
-
Provide general support at rehearsals
Ideal Qualities:
Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented with good communication skills.
